Story
Like the plot of a bad sci-fi movie, the world's amphibians are under attack by a deadly fungus. They need urgent help or a third of all species could disappear in the next 10 years.
It's the biggest extinction crisis since the dinosaurs were wiped off the planet but because it doesn't involve cuddly pandas or tigers, this global emergency does not receive the attention it deserves and is woefully underfunded.
Amphibian's position in the middle of the food chain means that their loss will have massive repercussions for global biodiversity.
The ZSL EDGE programme is working hard to combat the fungus and protect the habitats of the world's most critically endangered amphibians: http://www.edgeofexistence.org/amphibians/top_100.php
So let everyone else donate to save the so-called charismatic megafauna and instead spend your pennies here saving the amphibians and their habitats.
You could start by just giving one pound - it's very easy to do and will make you feel good all day.
Thanks!
