Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page set up to remember Edna Bush who passed away on Christmas Day 2021.
Over the last quarter century Edna has raised approximately £30,000 for Children's Cancer North and it is a charity that was close to her heart. She was an avid crafter who loved to fundraise by selling her handcrafted items at venues across the North East. She held an annual extravaganza at her home and usually raised around £1500 on each occasion, selling her own makes whilst also showcasing the work of other talented artisans from across the region.
She particularly loved to crochet and meet new people, and many people will know her as she was often found behind the counter at Woolaballoo in Crawcrook where she was in her element! Woolaballoo has created some knitting and crochet hat kits in her memory and £5 from each sale will be donated to Children's Cancer North. Alternatively, if you feel able and do not craft you can make a donation via this page. Edna will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May you Rest in Peace.
