Story
As you may know I have been raising money for The Sickle Cell Society for many years as its very close to my heart. I know that this charity does some amazing work to support people affected by the condition.
They also provide a free one week residential holiday for 30 children with sickle cell disease every year in August. The money I raise will go towards the holiday.
The charity does not receive any government funding and relies on donors and fundraisers like me to help them raise funds to support their amazing work.
I'm turning 65 in June and therefore I urge you to give generously as my birthday gift :-). Please donate online today and don't forget to tick the gift aid box if you are a UK tax payer.
You can also donate with your mobile by text. Text the word 'LUCR65 £5' and send to the number 70070. This service is free to use and the donation will be added to your phone bill.
