Story
I am running this year's Royal Parks Half Marathon as my Centenary Pledge to Sight for Surrey. As many of you know I work for Sight for Surrey and see first hand how invaluable the help and support they provide to people who are blind, vision impaired, Deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing is.
I am running this race with a friend who has recently become a Trustee of Sight for Surrey, David Liversidge, who received tech support by the charity, which he credits to making his life a whole lot easier when living and working with a VI.
This year the charity is celebrating 100 years of supporting people with a sensory loss and I hope my small contribution, of my fundraising target, will go towards helping them continue for another 100 years and more!
