The White Peak walk was finally completed in honour of my dear friend Helen, to raise money for St Lukes hospice.Very Sadly Helen passed away peacefully with members of her family there with her.

My thoughts are with all the family at this tme. The funeral was on the Friday and the walk was Saturday. I had alot of time during the walk to think about Helen and I had fantastic support from Michele, Jalna and Jayne who did the walk with me.

I would like to say a massive thank you to my friends and to everybody who sponsered me. It took us over eleven hours to complete as it was also an orienteering exercise which involved scrambling up cliffs, fortunately we had the mountain rescue team on hand to guide us in towards the end.

Helen will never be forgotten. Friendship is a very strong, powerful and amazing force xx thankyou all love from Lucinda.
