I'm raising money for UCLH Stem Membrane project in memory of my beautiful son Lucas.

He was a very much wanted baby, after 2 funerals for my other prem children I needed to mend my broken heart. I went into hospital 1st feb 2009.

I noticed I had been leaking waters. When I arrived at hospital they confirmed my waters were bulging. I stayed in hospital and was checked for infection everyday. Not once was I given any advice on pprom, I wasn't even told about the condition.

Every day the nurses came in and asked me to abort my baby and that he wouldn't survive no matter what. I hung on too hope and carried on as long as I could. I was sick, I had high temp and this was causing me to fit. 10th feb I was deemed too sick to carry on and out fate was dealt. I had to be induced. My perfect little boy arrived into the world on the 11th feb 2009. Lucas Arthur Kevin Jackson.

He took a few small breaths and then he was gone. I was never offered antibiotics. I was given no explanation of anything. My 3rd born I have to bury. I'm raising money for UCLH to raise awareness and to try ensure that every family has the facts they need to choose what they want for there child. So please folks dig deep if you can, every little helps.

For all our babies that were born too soon and could not make it home.
