Studying International Relations has made me aware and of all kinds of issues around the globe. Above all, it highlighted the importance of being politically active in any possible way. Protecting one's Human Rights is essential to improve the universal community we are all part of, and, making the world a better place. 

Treaties and Declarations have been signed, political and sociological theories have been developed and international organisations have been founded... Yet, Human Rights' violations are happening everyday everywhere. 

NGOs such as Amnesty International help preserve the political, economic, social and cultural rights of every citizen across Third World countries, minorities and communities all over the globe. 

This is not an easy battle, but is one we should all fight together as we get closer, and closer to equality!
