Story

Hi everyone,

So until the last few years I had never heard of Pots Syndrome or known anyone to be effected by it - probably like many of you.

My friend's family have now been seriously effected by this and her grand-daughter has gone from being a fit and healthy girl, and in the click of your fingers struck down by this debilitating illness!!!

Unable to eat, walk, attend regular school, safe to say its completely whipped the quality of life from under her with no warning and she just hasn't recovered so far.

Any money raised on here will be going straight to PoTS UK and hopefully this will help with research and find out more about this illness and help people to recover.

So... what am I going to do for your cashola???

I'm going to ride my bike (A PUSH BIKE BY THE WAY :-)) 100 miles around the West Highland Way cycle route which should take about 8 hours on a good day... but the Scottish weather isn't easy so no idea how long if the wind and rain kicks in (I feel sick already).  AND THEN the following day I'm going to drag my sorry ass up Ben Nevis to finish the weekend off, cant guarantee ill get back down on the same day!!

Obviously ill track it and upload the evidence.. ;-)

Anyway people, Please please give generously, this could happen to anyone and its a really important thing to raise awareness on!!

PoTS UK

RCN 1159813
PoTS UK was founded by a group of healthcare professionals with PoTS who recognised the need to increase awareness of this condition. We are passionate about educating and supporting patients, family, friends and medical professionals about this widely unrecognised and misdiagnosed condition. We do this by sharing up to date evidence and resources. We also work with healthcare professionals and other charities in the UK and abroad, and advocate for our members by seeking better NHS services, more research, and targeted treatments for people with PoTS.
