After a long battle with Cancer my beautiful brave Mum sadly passed away on 20 April 2012. She has left the biggest hole in my heart that will never be filled and I will think about her and miss her every day.

Whilst I could waste time feeling angry and asking why such an amazing person has been taken so soon, that won't help me or anyone else. So I have decided to do something positive to show my thanks to Macmillan who made the hardest week of mine, and my family's life that little bit easier.

Although our fight is over, the fight continues for so many people. Hopefully you will be able to support James and I in fighting what can only be described as a cruel and relentless disease. If the money we raise stops just one person going through the pain and loss we have, then it will be more than worthwhile.

You only have one life, we are making sure we live ours to the full and we just hope we can make my Mum proud.
