Story

Hello.. If you are visiting this page then you must like me a lot, or like charity a lot, or you're really nice.. or you are here to mock... There is a price for mocking and it's a donation of at least fifty quid. If you mock and don't donate, then you're not a nice person, I shall find out, and I shall hunt you down!

I do have 2 fundraising pages, the reason for this is that these pages ask charities to pay an initial set up cost. Happy Landings wasn't on here and Secret World wasn't on Virgin justgiving hence having two, so take your pick! It's a pain, but it helps them not having to have to shell out the money I intend to raise on adding themselves to the pesky website! You can visit my other page here www.virginmoneygiving.com/LouiseBrett

Now for my story.....In the begining (possibly with glass of wine in one had and cigarette in other) I applied to run the London Marathon, mainly so that I could get rejected and then tell everyone how disappointed I was, and how I would just love to run it... What an achievement hey? I forgot about it, then I went to Spain on holiday, got drunk, remembered and then bragged about how easy it would be and I wasn't worried at all... The moment I arrived home and opened the front door (with a mild hangover), there, staring up at me was an A4 polythene wrapped letter with the word ACCEPTANCE on the front... I may have started crying...

The next day I went for a run, I managed two miles at a speed of 15 minutes a mile, realised I was no longer a little chubby, I was now positively obese, and about as fit as a dead cod... and so the story begins... I am in training, I am in pain, I am hungry, miserable, and I often smell of body Odour, but it's all for a good cause right?

Don't get me wrong, I have thought seriously about breaking my own legs, I think this is normal, or moving to an island where no one can get to me... All good ideas... but I might just hang around a bit longer and see how this turns out... I am actually as intrigued as the rest of you...
