Story
As most of you are aware Niamh had emergency surgery after she suffered a ruptured appendix over the Christmas holidays. This caused complications that led to her suffering a complete strangulation of her small intestine 3 weeks later. She was very poorly and was transferred by ambulance from Morriston hospital to Noah’s Ark Children’s hospital in Cardiff where she underwent major bowel surgery. Niamh is now well on the road to recovery and is back to her normal self.
As a small token of thanks for the wonderful treatment we received during her stay we have decided to complete Noah’s Ark’s Summer of Fun challenge where we will be raising money by completing different activities throughout the school holiday.
Our first mission is to climb Pen y Fan on 21/8 (weather depending). Any donations to such an amazing cause would be greatly received. A small donation can help fund a play nurse to help bring a smile to a child’s face or an over night pack for a parent who like me was transferred from another hospital with only the clothes they are wearing with them.
Thank you for reading and your support xx
