SportsAble gave me the confidence I needed for people to see me for myself and not for my disability. I was diagnosed with Aggressive Multiple Sclerosis in February 2014. I joined SportsAble in July 2014 which was the start of me believing in myself again.

I had to relearn how to swim again as my co-ordination had completely changed. SportsAble's one to one support in the water helped me gain back my technique in the water. I am doing this Bray Lake Swim of 100 metres. The feeling of achievement is immense for me.
