As you are probably aware I have been trying to get into the London Marathon for 5 years now and following 4 rejections I have finally secured a place for the 2011 event. Following the previous rejections each year I have run a Half Marathon to raise funds for Kent Air Ambulance but now it is the real thing.

Although I have secured my place through the open ballot I did not want to waste the opportunity of raising some money for charity. I will be running in memory of Bob Harrop and Clive Davies who sadly passed away in 2007 and 2010 respectively.
