Story
Hi. Thanks for visiting my page.
I'm running in the London Marathon on April 22nd to raise funds for the Bluebell Railway Northern Extension Project.
The Bluebell Railway is a preserved Steam Railway based in Sussex. The line currently terminates about a mile outside my home town of East Grinstead. The project to extend the line northwards has been running for many years now and has faced several significant obstacles, not least of which was a 1960's rubbish tip on the trackbed! Now the end is finally in sight and the Railway now just needs to raise a final £600K to complete the extension, allowing steam trains to run into East Grinstead and also link the main Bluebell line with the National Rail network. If the money is raised soon this could be a reality in early 2013.
I have always loved steam trains generally and the Bluebell in particular - Dad and Mum took me there as a child and Adam and I spent our second date there!
Please donate now!
Thanks, Lorna

Please sponsor me in the marathon to help the Bluebell achieve the final 'funding to the finish' push into East Grinstead.
