Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know I am fast approaching a significant birthday at the end of February and along with that my Dad (Bobby Hanna) is 5 years post liver transplant a week later. I have been thinking a lot about the amazing gift the donor family gave to us and and I actually struggle to find words (I know hard to believe)how much it has meant to our family. It really put into perspective how much material stuff we have in our lives that we don't need or use.

So I have decided to kick off a year of fundraising for the liver charity that supported us through the whole transplant process and also hopefully raise awareness of organ donation, starting off with asking anyone who would normally buy me a gift for my birthday to instead make a small donation to the liver charity. Obvs any other donations would be most gratefully accepted too.

I then plan to arrange a few other events throughout the year so watch this space for details

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
