Race night on 26th May, Crofthead Centre, Livingston. tickets £5 each including buffet. Horses also £5 each - owner of winning horse in each race wins a bottle of bubbly

I have signed up to do a trek in Cuba in November 2012 to raise funds for Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh. Marie Curie provides free care to terminally ill patients in their own homes or in one of their hospices, whilst offering support to their families. £20 pays for a Marie Curie Nurse for 1 hour in a patient's home, whilst £220 covers Marie Curie's contribution to the cost of caring for an in-patient in the hospice for a day.

I need to raise a minimum of £3000 and hope to do this through a number of fundraising activities and sponsorship. My 'Blooming Great Tea Party' was a big success and raised the sum of £448 and I have also collected at pop concerts, setting me well on my way towards my target. I have just added the sum of £515 to my total which was raised at local primary school (well done Mid Calder).
