The nurses, doctors, therapists and social workers provide expert care and support both to the people staying at the hospice, and in the local community. By getting to know people as individuals, they help them do what is important to them whether thats getting out into the hospice garden to enjoy the views across the sea, having a beloved pet visit come to visit or sharing precious moments with their loved ones. As a family we are helping to raise money in support of the hospice by completing the Marie Curie challenge walk with a distance of 1,526k covered between us over the next 4 weeks. We aim to average 10k a day each between the 6 of us.
