Earlier this year my lovely friend Sarah was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumour and is currently undergoing treatment. From my own experiences of cancer I know how challenging it can be and how important the love and support of family and friends is to help you through.

Research is also important and without the work done by the many charities survival rates would not improve. I know that brain tumour research is woefully underfunded, so please support me in my quest to raise much needed funds.

On 13th May I will be cycling 40km through the lovely Bedfordshire countryside (hopefully in the sunshine!). This will also be a personal landmark as it will be 5 years since I ended my own treatment for breast cancer and I am pleased to be helping other acheive the same goal.
