Story
Over the past 8 years I have been honoured to meet some amazing servicemen who have survived some life changing events whilst volunteering with the charity Toe in the Water. One of these Heroes was a young soldier called Dean Caudley.
Deano survived losing his leg in Afghanistan only to be diagnosed with cancer last year. Although determined to fight this disease face on Deano lost the battle earlier this year. His death has touched all those who knew him.
In memory of Deano, and all those who face such extraordinary challenges, I am doing something which is well outside my capability. I will train and I will complete the challenge. I must!
In January this year I couldn't swim more than a pool length. If I am honest I still can't swim very well but have managed to swim 400m non-stop this week!
So please help me help others and donate the price of a pint, cake or whatever you can afford, every penny really does count, and help us beat this dreadful disease.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
A triathlon is a multiple-stage competition involving the completion of three continuous and sequential endurance disciplines. The triathlon involves swimming, cycling, and running in immediate succession over various distances. Triathletes compete for fastest overall course completion time, including timed "transitions" between the individual swim, cycle, and run components. The distances I will be covering are:
1.2m swim - 56m bike - 13.1m run
2.4m swim - 112m bike - 26.2m run
