Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Cardiff Half Marathon (17/10/10) to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust which is a charitable organisation who help and advise teenagers and parents of those who are battling against cancer.
I am one of a group of people called 'Shelley's Runners' who are trying to raise as much money as possible in loving memory of Shelley Harries, age 16, from Narberth who sadly passed away on the 14th January 2010,after showing immense bravery and courage in her ten month battle against cancer.
The Teenage Cancer Trust at the Heath Hospital Cardiff helped Shelley and her family during many weeks on the ward. Your contribution will be used to help in a small way towards the terrific work that they do, in supporting youngsters and their families. Shelley's younger sister was in my class this year, so this means a lot to me..xxx
Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thankyou so much for taking time to read this,
