Rape Crisis Tyneside & Northumberland is run by women for women and girls over 13 who have experienced sexual violence. The work they do is invaluable for those who need their support across the region, supporting all women including, but not limited to, women who identify as Lesbian, Bi, Trans and/or Questioning; Black, Minority Ethnic and Refugee women; and disabled women. 

 I first came into contact with them in 2011 and knowing that there is an organisation out there which supports women like myself in whichever way we need was a relief. Since then I've hoped to raise awareness of the amazing work they do.

RCTN are hosting their second firewalk this March 2017 after such a fantastic turn out in 2016. Join us at Amazing Radio HQ, Gateshead for a night to remember! It is entirely free to watch - so bring your friends / family / colleagues along for support!
