Story

Updated on Sep 9th 2012 at 10:30 AM from the JustGiving API

Two weeks to go! As training I've just done a sprint tri in Hatfield, and it went well. But London's a lot longer...

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and supporting my London Triathlon attempt.

You probably know that I'm a pretty keen cyclist, and if you have a long memory you might recall I've run a couple of marathons in my time too.  But swimming?  Not my strong point!

I'm officially the slowest swimmer in the world. And the idea of swimming 1.5km in freezing cold, dark open water surrounded by thousands of thrashing arms and legs is pretty terrifying at this stage.  But over the summer I WILL get better at swimming, and somehow I will do this thing!  And then there's just a small matter of 40km on the bike and 10km to run.  With jelly legs.

So please dig deep and donate now.
