• In January this year I decided to change my life and I joined slimming world. Since then I have lost 4 and a half stone and become much healthier as a result. After losing 2 stone a friend suggested I treat myself to a makeover and have my hair cut. Being overweight for many years tends to knock your confidence, you won't have your photo taken and In my case having very long hair means I don't even have to look in a mirror to do it! Having still a way to go I said that when I lost 3 and a half stone I would finally have it cut. Getting closer I realised I had no idea what I wanted done . So I decided why not really start fresh and at the same time raise money for a fantastic charity, which also happens to be one of Slimming worlds own charities.        So on December 5th - my 45th birthday(and hopefully even closer to my target weight) I will be having roughly 25" inches cut off ! The hair is also being donated to ' The little Princess trust ' who make real hair wigs for children who have sadly lost there hair through cancer treatment.
