Fundraising for Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Good morning,
My name is Liz and I am the landlady of the Old Five Bells in Kingsthorpe, NORTHAMPTON.
The history of it starts with our pub becoming an entertainment venue, one of our regulars Jamie loves “take me home, country Road” by John Denver and this soon became our pub anthem, anyway one evening myself, my Mucker and our very good friend Sean Grew and a performer at our pub decided it would be a good idea to try and release a charity single. Sean has contacts in The Lodge recording studio and we got fundraising as it was going to cost just get the single recorded.
We also approached our regular singers and musicians who all offered their time to record a band aid style song and video.
It sounds amazing and we want to raise as much money as possible. We also have all our regulars singing the chorus and all in the video from every age range it has truly been a project from the whole community.
