You only get one life, make the most of it. My amazing friend Rich taught me that life is too short to keep saying no to challenges and new things. Rich sadly lost his life whilst waiting for a heart transplant. In my 40th year I intend to say yes and push myself to experience more life, in a tribute to a great man with a big heart.
There will be small moments and many big events planned, and still growing. Currently the list includes:
Malaga Half Marathon
Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
London Marathon (this is the big one!)
Climbing mount Snowdon
24 hours tech free
Rich taught me the importance of friends. Some challenges will be a chance to make new friends and spend time with old ones. If you’d like to help and join in I will welcome any support and new friends on this journey xx
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
