As you probably are aware of by know I like helping charities and I like a good challenge. This time I am giving not only money but also my time, as I will go with the charity to India and work....hard work 24/7 :)

The project have two aims; developing youths is one and the other is to work on a community project to aid the local community. I have trained and prepared for this project since September 2009 and it will probably be one of the hardest things I will ever do.

Just to make it clear none of this money will go to me, I will NOT have a paid holiday. My flights, visa, vaccinations and gear is paid for by me seperately. The money raised here will go to the charity to make projects like this possible. Also I will certainly not have a holiday as I will be working there the whole time developing youths but also working to finish a community project.

The place I am going to is in the south of India in the Karnataka/ Mysore area, I will be there for 8 weeks starting in July. I will try to update you on my progress up to leaving for India on my blog http://runningforhealth.wordpress.com/
If possible I will update you in India as well but I know there might be limited opportunities to blog.
