Story
I'm completing 'Walk the Wight My Way' to help make sure that, even during this challenging time, the most vulnerable in our community are cared for when they need it the most. Each day I will walk for an hour with my dog, Little Susie. We want to remember our dear friend Jean who was cared for so gently by the hospice earlier this year. Its only with our help that Mountbatten can continue to be there for Island people in the last years of life, when the time comes to die and to help those left behind come to terms with their loss. Without our support, Mountbatten cannot afford to deliver the services they do, as well as meet the needs of the increasing number of people who need care and support. Please help me by making a donation of whatever you can afford. I appreciate in this uncertain time things may be tough but please, every penny will make a difference. Mountbatten, and Island people facing death, dying and bereavement, are counting on us! Little Suise and I will be out there walking come rain or shine! Thank-you x
