Story
Let’s talk crap! Seriously guys on 4th August 21 I had emergency surgery that saved my life … if you are having any different bowel movements, blood in your poo💩or if something doesn’t feel right please speak to your GP ! See me I was never regular with my bowel movements and I didn’t actually feel unwell ….
I thought I was constipated! I was only actually unwell for 2 days… Thankfully so thankfully Our GP called me into the surgery when we called the second morning of me feeling unwell to examine me after I had vomited green bile !!! My GP then examined me to say no there’s nothing there you are not constipated you have a blockage, you need to get to a&e now between him an the amazing surgical team at Whipps within 24hours I had life saving surgery ❤️xx
Tbh I think we are all still in shock as I said I didn’t actually feel unwell x thought I was constipated and turns out to be stage 3 high risk bowel cancer !
I’m so lucky to still be here to now fight this battle x
The tumour was pushing on my appendix so after 2 days of feeling rough I was admitted to Whipps Cross Hospital and had emergency surgery to remove the tumour and as they opened me my appendix was ready to burst! I’m so lucky I was a walking time bomb ! The cancer had spread to the lymph nodes that they had also removed and broken through my bowel wall we are not sure what’s got through so I’m on intensive chemo 12 cycles over 6 months every 2 weeks !! I now have a stoma bag which I now have my head around thankfully and my stoma nurse has been truly wonderful x as i say I am so lucky to be here to be fighting this battle ❤️🙏❤️
I’m so happy that due to hearing my story that at least 5 people I know have reached out to their doctors! Keep chatting crap 💩 guys! #lisasarmy #bowelcancer #kickingcancersarse #letstalkpoo
