Story

Hello friends and family!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will be my first ever Marathon and I really appreciate your support. The run is 26.2 miles long, and yes, I'm a wee bit scared!! Starting near Fort Augustus on Sunday October 4th, I will run along the South-Eastern shores of Lochness, past Dores to reach the finish line in Queens Park Stadium Inverness.

I wanted to raise money for charity and have chosen to run for Children 1st. They are an amazing organisation who

"support families under stress, protect children from harm and neglect, help them to recover from abuse and promote children's rights and interests."

Please take some time to go to http://www.children1st.org.uk/ for more information.

Your money will help make a difference by creating safer, happier childhoods. I know all the training will be worth it.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks so much,

Lisa x
