Yorkshire Three Peaks , 14 June 2014
We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

I will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday 14th June. Our team will endure a tough 25 mile hike across Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, the three largest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales ascending 2km in total.

We’re raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK. There are currently 820,000 people living with Dementia in the UK. By 2040 this figure will grow to 1,500,000. There is currently no cure and little funding. The money raised from this event will go towards funding two vital research scholarships in the quest to find a cure and help bring hope to thousands of families across the UK who are profoundly affected by dementia.
