As many of you know that our lovely mum, "Lizzy" sadly passed away on 25th  January 2019.

She had a journey that many people do not understand, and hopefully a journey they will never have to take.

We would have lost our mum a lot sooner if it had not been for the "gift of life" so generously and selflessly given by the wonderful donor, this meant our mum could receive a double lung transplant in October 2015. and the team at the Freeman could work their magic, this truly was a life saving operation which allowed mum to live on and meant she had more precious time to spend with her loved ones.  

As a family we are forever grateful for the care, help and support the amazing team at the  Freeman Hospital gave to mum, Jinty and I, and the whole family during this testing time and we are still truly humbled by the selfless act of the donor whos gift we can never repay.
