Story

Everyone is affected by Cancer in some way, if they know someone be it a friend or a loved one or themselves! So a group of us have decided to do the 13 mile walk for St Catherine’s hospice. Here is my story on why I have decided to do the walk with the support of some amazing friends!!

So my story started 3 years ago in February 2015,  when my dad told me he had cancer!! From that moment on my life changed and for the last 3 years he has fought cancer on and off with several operations and lots of treatment. January this year though we were dealt the devastating blow that this time it was terminal and there was nothing more that could be done. He is now under the care of St Catherine’s Hospice as we prepare for what we know will be the hardest thing we as a family will ever have to go through.

St Catherine’s Hospice provide care not only for their patients but also for their family helping them come to terms with what lies ahead! I wanted to do something to raise money for them so myself and some friends have signed up to do the 13 mile midnight walk, and would really appreciate anything you can spare towards this amazing charity.  Thank you in advance xx
