My Dad was diagnosed earlier this year and it has been a very scary time for us all. Dad is just starting down the treatment path unfortunately it is incurable but timeline given is years ahead. We are all trying to stay extremely positive but I have to say it hit me like a juggernaut when first told two months ago. I think I am still trying to come to terms with it, but that's just because its my Dad and I don't want him to have any type of cancer....

At this time I can't do anything but support my dad but I feel helpless, so this is my way of fighting back. There is so little funding for prostate cancer compared to other cancers. All money raised can help fund the latest technology, research and  allow the best care possible.

I have roped friends in to help keep me company and for that I am grateful. It will be a long walk but can't wait to head on my way and raise money for prostate cymru, xxx
