December 2016 we faced the last Christmas with our Dad lung cancer was holding on tight to this strong amazing fighter. He was holding on tight equal to life with my step mother his rock, my sister not only my step mothers rock but also his too, his 4 granddaughters 2 son in laws and his in laws he still had a lot to fight for and  to stay with us for! Lung cancer was not going to take him. With his oncologist Fiona Macdonald in his corner Simon Jordon agreed radical surgery was they way forward 9 months on my dad is 9 months clear of lung cancer without the Royal Marsden the doctors, the nurses the research teams we could have been faced with a very different year. So for my 40th year I am running the London Mararthon so another family is blessed and can keep their loved 1 for longer too. Please help me raise as much money for this truly wonderful life saving hospital!
