<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>As some of you may know already I am soon setting off on what will no doubt be the hardest challenge i've ever done. Along with a group of around 500 others, me and Anna will be cycling from John O Groats to Lands End setting off on June 11th. Over 9 days we will cover approximately 1000 miles of gruelling hills and beautiful countryside...hopefully with a bit of sunshine to help us on our way!</p>
<p>At the moment the phrase 'all the gear and no idea' springs to mind, as in typical fashion we have all the outfits, kit and top range bikes....however actual training has been minimal due to excessive social engagements, holidays, work and fractured bones! But I'm confident we will make it through....with the help of a few snickers bars and a lot of gin and tonic! </p>
<p>Our main motivation for doing the ride was just to have fun, challenge ourselves and meet some new people, as we will literally be pushing ourselves to our limits to get through it, we thought we would try and raise a bit of money for charity while we're at it.</p>
<p>We are raising money for Lupus UK who not only support sufferers of Lupus but also funds research into the condition. This matter is very close to my heart and I would appreciate any donation small or large towards the charity.</p>
<p>We have paid for the trip ourselves, so all funds raised will go directly to the charity.</p>
<p>And if you can't give at the moment, do wish us luck!! We're gonna need it.</p>
