Story
Hi!!
In the last four years since attempting to make our wonderful son Freddie a big brother we have sadly lost eight babies, the most recent being New Year's Eve 2017. Our quest to extend our family is sadly over but in the next year we want to honour our eight heavenly babies by taking part in/organising eight events.
The first three of these events will be to raise money for a wonderful charity called Love, Jasmine which was set up by Rob and Kathy after losing their little girl Jasmine suddenly in 2014. They offer invaluable support to families who have suffered the loss of a child at any age/gestation.
The first event will be a Half Iron Man (Deva triathlon) which my husband Harrison will be taking part in on June 3rd this year. He has been training like a lunatic and will do a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike ride and a 21km run.
The week after, Sunday 10th June I will casually jump 10,000 ft out of a plane allowing myself to finally cross 'Skydive' off my bucket list!
Later in June our truly magical five year old, Freddie will take part in a Mini Iron Man with us, which will involve a 1 mile run, a 12 mile bike ride and a yet to be decided amount of lengths of a swimming pool (when we find our pool we'll tell you how many lengths!) There will be no armbands/ other flotation devices and no stabilisers on the bike....
With our determination to honour our babies (Teddy's Army Of Eight) and to raise as much as possible for Love, Jasmine, I ask to please donate what you can (even if it's a quid or two!) There is an option to donate by text by sending our unique code TAOE 99 (Teddy's Army Of Eight) followed by the amount you wish to donate to the number 70070
Thanks so much,
Linz, Harrison and Freddie Wood
