Story
Save the Children is an organisation that has always been close to my heart. It would mean so much to me if you would support this organisation and I will try my best to do a good half marathon!
The organisation was founded almost 100 years ago and during this time they have helped hundreds of millions of mothers and children during crisis, conflicts, disease outbreaks, floods and cyclones. Their work involves reducing disaster risks for children and after emergencies such as the Nepal earthquake they are one of the first organisations to be there and help children and their families to rebuild their lives.
Some examples of what your money goes against if you donate to Save the Children:
- £3 could pay for a life saving treatment for eight children who are sick with diarrhoea.
- £5 could buy building materials for 10 latrines, helping protect families from disease.
- £10 could fund malaria testing for 145 children, so that cases can be diagnosed quickly and more lives saved.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
