Story

So, this is the BIG one...

And the last time that I’ll ask for sponsorship in a while; I promise!

Many of your know the fantastic small charity that I'm raising money for - the Karen Morris Memorial Trust

Why I support them is twofold:

Firstly, are the many many memories of vibrant beautiful Karen (my best friend's sister) and knowing that the pain of losing a loved one never ever even dulls. And thinking not only about Karen, but all the wonderful people those close to me have had to say goodbye to, too soon.

Secondly, is the fantastic work that the KMMT does to support leukaemia patients and their families through the most difficult of times. As a trustee I know that the charity runs on minimal overheads which means that money goes where it should.

Most importantly I get to regularly read moving testimonials from guests who have stayed in one of Karen's four Homes from Home across the country. Messages from patients, and families of patients; some who made it, and some who didn't, but all forever grateful for the services that the KMMT provided.

This is my way of helping to ensure that Karen's book of life stays open to support others.

Thank you for reading this and any sponsorship that you can give.

Do come and cheer me on/hand me jelly babies (or even better Percy Pigs!) on the day!

Thank you,

Lindsey xx
