In September 2016 our world was turned upside down when our beautiful daughter Anna, 10 years old was diagnosed with a brain tumour. We could never have imagined this but it was real. Anna underwent major brain surgery followed by further surgery in November 2016.Anna received the most wonderful care and attention from Noahs Arc, from Neurosurgeons, Endocrine Specialists, Opthamology Specialists, Specialist nursing staff, Radiographers, nurses on the wards, play therapists, the list is endless. Every one of the people in the hospital made her feel like she was the most important person in the world and that they were going to do everything in their power to make her better and get her back home with us and back to school with her friends.

We have much to be very thankful for . To date Anna is well , full of energy and thriving. However we all quietly live with the fear everyday that we could find ourselves back in Noahs Arc Hospital at anytime. We take nothing for granted. Anna attends the hospital regularly for reviews, assessments and scans and will continue to do so for a long time yet.  

To have such a specialist unit in Cardiff for the children of Wales  is invaluable. We want to raise some money to give just a little back to the charity that does so much to make the hospital what it is. No figure would ever truly reflect the care they gave Anna, its not meant to. However its just a little something that as a family we can do together to say "thank you."
