Well I did it! And I was very pleased with my time, considering how nervous I was about open water swimming.  Apart from the pond weed giving me flashbacks to a particularly scary part of a Harry Potter film, it was fine.

So thank you all for your support, I managed a beer as opposed to a G&T at the finish line and can walk today!!
