On Tuesday the 24th of November 2009 we all lost Mandy Lindsay- the sweetest, kindest, funniest person you could ever wish to meet, and a great friend. Mandy suffered from a terrible illness that affects thousands of people throughout the country and to honour her many friends and family members are supporting the charity Depression Alliance. They support people that are going through what Mandy was, and they also help support family members and create awareness for the cause.

Words cannot describe the pain of losing Mandy. Being out of the country and unable to help with other events this is my contribution to help support her legacy- I will be running the Shatin 10k race in Hong Kong to support Depression Alliance. I may not be quick and I may hobble to the finish line, but no matter what I will finish it for Mandy. She worked so hard to help others with mental health problems that it is only right that we do our best to continue her work and support this great charity. As Tony said "If the money we raise in honour of Mandy helps even one person then we have made a difference."
