No I'm not running myself but my friend Peter, who has run the Great North Run for about 11 years, has kindly offered to run in memory of my husband Terry, who died last year from bowel cancer , a couple of weeks after his 60th birthday. Terry fought his illness for nearly 4 years, having always lived a healthy life.  Peter's dad also died after contracting bowel cancer. I will be supporting Peter myself and if any of you can join me in doing so please give through this page and help us find a cure for this horrible disease.
