Story
I am taking part in a Brain Tumour Research Jump for Hope.Brain tumours kill more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer and just 12% survive beyond five years. These terrible statistics, along with devastating stories of loved ones affected by brain tumours, mean that it is important that we work together to #FundTheFight and help raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research.By taking on this Jump for Hope, I will be doing exactly that. And yes I’m scared of the thought of jumping out of a plane but probably not as scared as my brother or all those people suffering for brain tumours. Many of my family and friends know that my younger brother has been fighting a brain tumour for a long time and has dealt with every hurdle it has thrown at him. Never did we envisage that he would be facing this diagnosis, Only late last year we were given the heartbreaking news that his tumour has become terminal, even with intense radiotherapy and Chemo, he is now unfortunately quite poorly and there isn’t a thing we as a family can do about it! We find it hard to think like this so not only do I want to raise awareness but would like to help raise needed money for more research so maybe one year we will have a cure for the many brain tumours that there are. Doing this for you little Bro 💙💙💙💙
