Well how did it go?  Was I a cool cookie or a cowardly custard!  Make up your own mind by checking out the pictures.  Video will follow. It's certainly an experience which I'd recommend to anyone, you don't need to be that brave at all.  I'm sure when you're under fire from the enemy our troops go through a much tougher time. 

I'm very grateful to all who sponsored me .. and for those whose credit cards have temporarily gone astray the site will remain live for a while so you'll still have time to donate and support our troops.

Hi All

I guess that everyone has received an unexpected gift at one time or another!

This Christmas Martyn and our girls thought it would be particularly cool to buy me a tandem sky dive and I’ll be travelling to Cambridge next Wednesday 2^nd June to experience the adrenaline rush of a lifetime, when I unwillingly hurl myself out of a plane at 13,000 feet.( weather conditions permitting).  

This certainly wasn’t on my bucket list of must do’s in my lifetime – and it may just be Martyn’s vain attempt to get rid of the Mrs. and claim the life insurance. However, now that the date is approaching I’ve got to summon the courage from somewhere, so I hope you can offer me support by helping to raise funds for a very worthwhile charity.

Whatever our personal opinions and beliefs most people admire the amazing job which our armed forces do everyday in areas of conflict, particularly .

Our troops are just normal guys and girls doing the job they’ve been trained to do in exceptionally difficult circumstances and sometimes it doesn’t always go to plan and they get injured.

Help for Heroes is the charity that I have selected and it’s the one that raises funds for those unfortunate enough to have been wounded. They deserve our support.

I’ll know what it feels like to be really scared when I do it for real!
