Story
I’m taking part in London's Bad Hair Day on 29th Feb with the Witness Service (Victim Support, London). I’ve been personally involved in the Witness Service at the Central Criminal Court (aka The Old Bailey) for over two years now where I am constantly amazed by the dedication of the volunteers who give so generously of their time to help vulnerable and intimidated victims and witnesses of the most serious crimes to find the strength to give evidence in court. The charity also supports families of murder and manslaughter victims before, during and after trials and the volunteers can and do make a tremendous difference for the families during such difficult times.
Thought you might like to see the options I am toying with for the day.....as you can see, I had inspiration at a young age, from a mother who clearly had a greater affinity with a pudding basin than a pair of scissors (and what’s with the dress??)
Please help by making a donation (however small) and why not join in too - you could be in with a chance to win 2 free return tickets to New York! Check this out .... ttp://www.facebook.com/pages/Londons-Bad-Hair-Day-2012/142215445892158?ref=tn_tnmn .
