Story
Well, this is it, the London Marathon. It'll be something to achieve as part of my 60th birthday celebrations, and after a year or more with few if any running events taking place, it is definitely something to look forward to.
I know everyone is always asking for donations these days, and I am extremely grateful to every single person who has taken the time to come to this page. As a thank you, I am offering to write you a poem! Now, it’ll be more Pam Ayres than Wordsworth, but if you or yours have a special birthday, anniversary, whatever, coming up, and you’d like a few suitable words, do please get in touch. :-)
I’m always being complimented on my smile ( even when running up Heartbreak Hill at Wallace parkrun....) so I’m delighted to be raising money for The Smile Train. They work with children born with a cleft, ensuring they can get the necessary operations and medical care to enable them to smile. We all could do with a few more smiles these days!
