Genesis Trust is a network of mainly Christians, who support disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the Bath area. They provide compassionate help to support people with their immediate needs and journey with them as they gain confidence, learn new skills, overcome challenges and make choices to restore and rebuild their lives.

Our fundraising activities will focus on two of Genesis Trust's key projects:

Lifeline is a day centre providing crisis support for people who are homeless, vulnerably housed or experiencing complex challenges such as financial insecurity, mental health and substance misuse.  Gensis can provide food, clothing, small household items, access to a shower and laundry facilities, phones and IT and much more. Their particular focus is on home and tenancy matters and financial problems; but they can help on any matter and will endeavour to do so.Their attention is directed at supporting the overall well-being of all who visit Lifeline. 

Life Skills offers people access to a range of health and well-being activities that are practical, creative and therapeutic. The project's aim is to provide activities that are relevant and of interest to people, meeting them where they are at in their lives without judgement or agenda, with the hope that the activities will be a part of their journey towards a healthier more fulfilling life. The project offers activities that bring a holistic approach to recovery, trauma and mental health, isolation and a lack of confidence.
