What am I doing?

In August I will be hiking the Yorkshire Three Peaks in the hope
of raising funds to support Marie Curie.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a 25 mile (40 kilometre) hike across the hills of Whernside (736 m or 2,415 ft), Ingleborough  (723 m or 2,372 ft) and Pen-y-ghent (694 m or 2,277 ft). 

As you may know, I am not the fittest of people, and this 'Three Peaks Challenge' will most certainly be a challenge for me. Any contribution you can make, big or small, will truly help fuel my will to complete it! 

Marie Curie:

Marie Curie is a charity that provides care and support to people coping
with a terminal illness. Marie Curie helps these people to achieve
their best quality of life and to keep their independence and
dignity for as long as possible. All of this while simultaneously
providing emotional support to both the individual and their family.

Where your donation will go:

For every £1 that I raise, 75p will go towards delivering, and
improving, the care and support that Marie Curie offer. The other 25p will go towards generating future income. 

Every £20 provides an hour of Marie Curie Nursing care - an
essential service that is totally free to patients and their families. Please
help me raise £1000, which will provide 50 hours of this all-important care.
