Story
Hello Friends & Family,
As some of you will already know, I very sadly lost my Dad to a rare form of Lymphoma in April 2019 and as such, have decided to raise money for a blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan, by running a half marathon in memory of him. A bloody good cause if you ask me and a good opportunity to show off my running abilities!
Dad didn't get the opportunity to have a stem cell transplant, however, having done endless research on bloody cancers, I know how important they can be when saving both children and adults with blood disorders. They do this by matching individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. They also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond.
Any donation you'd be able to contribute would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks!
