The Nun Run 2012

Eat Grinstead 10k · 23 September 2012
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I sponsor a couple of children in China and Equador (Yue, who is 6 and Domenica who is 5) and through letters and postcards and drawings and newsletters see the hardships children face around the globe (including the UK) and what organisations such as UNICEF are trying to do about it.
Every month when I get the newsletter through the door I stop and sit and realise how lucky I am and how good I have it compared to others. Running 10K isn't a huge thing. It's no marathon (I would ACTUALLY die outside St Pauls), or a trek along Macchu Piccu (Can't spell it properly so would get lost, I expect), or even growing a moustache for a month (I probably could, you know), but it's a little something that I can perhaps do to show my commitment to helping children across the world enjoy a better life. I hope you would be lovely enough to sponsor me and be part of trying to achieve that.
Every little helps, as Tesco says - instead of giving them money today, could you give it to me instead please????
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so, so much.
